I’ve been taking pictures since I was a kid. I love photography; the art of capturing a never-to-be-repeated moment in time. Taking pictures is fun but the real joy is the emotions they stir when we look at them. Whether it’s a flowing landscape, a stormy seascape, a joyous portrait or a city that’s buzzing with life – images are to be enjoyed. They transport us to a place in our memories, they move us to laughter and tears, they get us booking our next holiday.


I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolios. I’ve included a variety – hopefully there’s something here for everyone.

There was a time when capturing the light on a landscape formed the bulk of my images but these days I’m a husband and father of four. The best landscapes are captured at the busiest family times so I’ve tended to concentrate on portraiture, particularly children and families.

I also provide a photographic service for websites and events such as school productions, sports days, graduations etc.. It’s a privilege knowing that other people enjoy the pictures that I take – whether it’s capturing the fun of an individual family or the children’s portraits that I’ve had published in a national magazine.

For those of you interested in the technical details I use Nikon equipment. I try to limit post processing, preferring to capture the image first time rather than manipulate it afterwards.
